Thank you - read the "What is a veteran?" tears, I don't ride or have a motor bike. - do have a Cadillac - old like me. My only son needs help - he is in danger of a 'gang' in Moe. He's not the full quid and they prey on him. Anyway thank you!

On March 20 i sang a song that i wrote to my brother and Vietnam Veteran Andrew Ingram . This song has been 46 years in the making and recalls my memories, from a 9 year old boy in 1969 to a now 55 year old man, drawing on my knowledge and feelings of the Vietnam War and how much these Vets have been effected. It was played at the at Gippsland HQ of the Vietnam Veterans and Veterans Motor Cycle Club. Tonight was the first time i have played it live, needless to say it was very tough and emotional to sing. I must say the feeling of pride playing to my brother and the crowd of Vietnam Vets who stood silently, listening intently was amazing then to recieve an appreciative round of applause was incredibly
satisfying. Thank you to John Simpson for writing the music and playing Guitar and Harmonica for me . Thankyou also to the Gippsland Vietnam Veterans and Veterans Motor Cycle Club for the opportunity to perform my song. Most of all to my brother Andrew Ingram for your personal contribution as a 19 year old soldier along with all the other Vietnam Veterans who continue to struggle to this day.

Mark
Here is a link to the song, hope you enjoy it. Feel free to send comments to pridenjoy@aanet.com.au

Checked back on the site today and have looked around at how you have done a great job on the site. Still reminisce about the old days at Hastings.
Still active with COVV's and you can see a surge starting to come back up with the children as the 50th Anniversary comes along. There has been a suggestion that to keep the Legacy alive that Children of Vietnam Veterans might be able to join under the Charter. But obviously it has to be a decision at National Level. Maybe one to pass on.....

Cheers and Keep up the fine work!

My most heartfelt thanks for your extreme kindness in arranging for a replacement set of my Defence Force Service Medals which were stolen in a house robbery.  Words can't express how I felt to have this set presented to me by President T Rat with members of your group present.  Skull - I look forward to meeting you some where down the line, you did an amazing job in creating my replica medals and the presentation box is memorable.  This set of medals will mean more to me than those to be replaced by the Department of Defence, I will wear them with pride and think of you all on those occasions.

Kindest Regards
